The application offers a brief illustrated overview of the gods of the Old Slavs, goddesses and beings and demons with their short description. The information was collected from various available sources. Due to the diversity of preserved resources, in case of controversial and divergent information, we leaned towards the majority of sources.

Slavic mythology is a complex of experiences of the deep antiquity and newer forms of mythological ideas of the Slavs. Many of these ideas have survived to our time. But medieval written documents are very incomplete and fragmentary, moreover, the Slavs never had any known unified state and religion, so no common fixed hierarchy of the pantheon could be formed, so we can only reconstruct the mythology of the ancient Slavs on the basis of literary, ethnographic, folkloristic, archeological and linguistic data and varies considerably from one area to another.
